v0.4.0 Working proposal After 0.3.0 · human acceptance required

The proposal builds on the published 0.3.0 release and prioritizes deterministic multi-file projects, reliable database and runtime operations, safer account and API lifecycles, explicit effects, and release evidence. A real independent human onboarding acceptance is mandatory before 0.4.0.

🎯 Proposed 0.4.0 priorities 📄 Read the complete plan ↗

1 — Modules & projects

Project-local imports, visibility, cycle diagnostics, and deterministic builds.

2 — Database lifecycle

Timeouts, health diagnostics, safe schema changes, and recovery rehearsals.

3 — Account & API safety

Password recovery, session control, request correlation, and bounded API use.

4 — Effects & evidence

Granular capability grants, security checks, accessibility, and artifact provenance.

v0.5.0 Planning proposal Depends on 0.4.0

The proposed next stage connects a stable project model with safe database recovery, a complete business application, independently deployable Docker application slices, account and API lifecycle controls, bounded runtime jobs, and stronger local tooling.

🎯 0.5.0 acceptance areas📄 Read the full roadmap proposal ↗

1 — Language & compatibility

Stable modules, structured errors, domain types, and clear compatibility rules.

Application slices

Select checked modules with their full dependency closure and run them as separate Docker deployments.

2 — Safe database operations

Reviewed migrations, connection limits, health checks, and restore evidence.

3 — Business application

Multi-file inventory/order workflow with permissions, transactions, and concurrency checks.

4 — Runtime & tooling

Explicit effects for jobs/email, local editor support, security, accessibility, and supply-chain evidence.

v0.3.0 Stable release 03. Okt 2026
📄 implemented.de.md on GitHub ↗

Published experimental release: the 0.3.0 source includes MariaDB compatibility coverage, SQLite schema tests, view layouts and named slots, project-local UI catalogs, schema-drift checks, web-runtime hardening, the CLI updater, and reproducible Linux and Windows artifacts. No independent human onboarding study was conducted for 0.3.0; the project owner deferred it to the mandatory 0.4.0 acceptance gate.

  • [DATABASE MATRIX] Automated MariaDB compatibility matrix across 4 server versions (10.11, 11.4, 11.8, 12.3) and SQLite regression tests.
  • [SCHEMA DRIFT] Strict schema-drift detection with review gates and safe preflight dry-runs in zelyra db plan and zelyra db apply.
  • [ONBOARDING & CLI] Verified clean onboarding path with automated CLI installer, guided browser setup (zelyra setup --web), and built-in binary updater (zelyra update).
  • [VIEWS & SLOTS] Modular view composition with named layout slots (layout: ViewName, slot: header, slot: content) and declarative table views with pagination.
  • [I18N & LOCALIZATION] Project-local bilingual UI catalogs in locales/de.toml and locales/en.toml.
  • [WEB SECURITY] Host Header allowlists (allowed_hosts), browser-origin verification against DNS rebinding, CSRF protection, and Argon2 password hashing.
  • [DETERMINISTIC BUILDS] Bit-exact byte-identical release archives across Linux and Windows with SHA-256 checksums.
v0.2.0 Previous stable release 20. Sep 2026
📄 implemented.de.md on GitHub ↗

Milestone Release 0.2.0: Reusable view layouts and named component slots, project-local German/English UI language catalogs (i18n), strict schema-drift detection with safe preflights and review gates, web-security hardening with host allowlist and browser-origin checks, built-in 1-command CLI updater (`zelyra update`), plus deterministic, byte-identical release builds.

  • [VIEWS & SLOTS] Reusable view layouts with named slots (layout: ViewName, slot: header, slot: content) for modular component-driven web UIs.
  • [I18N & LOCALIZATION] Project-local German and English UI language catalogs in locales/de.toml and locales/en.toml.
  • [DATABASE & SCHEMA-DRIFT] Strict schema-drift detection with explicit review gates and safe preflight dry-runs in zelyra db plan and zelyra db apply.
  • [SECURITY & WEB] Hardened web runtime with browser-origin verification and configurable host_allowlist protecting against DNS rebinding attacks.
  • [CLI UPDATER] Built-in 1-command binary updater via zelyra update and zelyra update --check.
  • [TOOLING & EDITORS] Official syntax highlighting and tooling packages for 8+ editors (VS Code, JetBrains, Helix, Emacs, Notepad++, Zed, Sublime, Vim).
  • [DETERMINISTIC BUILDS] Deterministic release packaging with SHA-256 checksums and byte-identical builds across pinned CI toolchains.
v0.1.50 19. Sep 2026

Alpha patch release: enhanced detail navigation in generated CRUD views, fixed CSRF token validation on permission revocation, and aligned test suite with localized interface.

  • [CRUD] Generated CRUD lists now link the first displayed field to the record detail page when the technical id column is hidden (for both table and card layouts).
  • [AUTH] Fixed the authentication-admin permission revocation form so it transmits the valid CSRF token and reliably removes selected permissions.
  • [TESTS] Updated end-to-end integration test assertions for default German interface and humanized tableview column headers.
  • [CI/RELEASE] Added non-publishing release rehearsals in GitHub Actions to build and validate Linux and Windows release artifacts.
v0.1.45 Sep 2026

Hardened MariaDB setup, automatic port selection on conflicts, and platform-specific Docker guidance.

  • [MARIADB] Dynamic port selection for web and MariaDB services when default ports are already occupied.
  • [CLI] Setup assistant with web UI (zelyra setup --web) and doctor provide platform-specific Docker/Compose installation guidance.
  • [SLOTS] Nested component slots inside component invocations no longer require page view layouts.
  • [VERIFY] Loop invariants with invariant { condition } and verification status via zelyra verify.
v0.1.40 Aug 2026

Nominal domain typing barriers, Option/Result pattern matching, and complete CRUD resource mapping.

  • [TYPES] Nominal domain typing with type UserId = Id prevents accidental identifier mixing.
  • [SAFETY] Full compiler exhaustiveness checking for match on Some/None and Ok/Err.
  • [CRUD] Declarative CRUD resource generation connecting tables to web forms.
v0.1.30 Jul 2026

Single-source table schema definitions, database plan migrations, and built-in HTTP server.

  • [SCHEMA] Declarative table syntax defining types, primary keys, and field validation rules.
  • [WEB] Native page routes with auto-escaped HTML parameters.
  • [DB] Schema migration planner via zelyra db plan.
v0.1.00 Mai 2026

Initial language compiler release in Rust. Pure immutability by default, static typing, and clear syntax.

  • [CORE] First public compiler implementation in Rust.
  • [LANG] Immutable values by default, explicit mutable.
